DAVID PELLICER (Valencia, 1977)


Bachelor of Fine Arts and Advanced Studies Diploma (DEA) from the Faculty of Fine Arts of San Carlos of València.

He has been holding individual and collective exhibitions on a regular basis since 1998 in various countries such as Spain, Cuba or the Dominican Republic. He has participated in international art fairs such as ARCO Madrid, Amsterdam Art Fair or Art Madrid and has obtained various awards such as the National Prize of the Royal Academy of San Carlos, the Autumn Salon of the Ateneo Mercantil or the First Prize of the Mainel Foundation. , among others. 

His work can be found in various public collections such as the San Carlos Royal Academy of Fine Arts, the UPV Art Fund or the Mainel Foundation, as well as in numerous private collections in countries such as England, Belgium, Spain or China.

David Pellicer's work stands on the threshold between abstraction and figuration, it is based on geometric and orthogonal forms that range from abstraction to the creation of scenic spaces. Light, color and space are essential ingredients in his work, which oscillates between Hard Edge Painting and geometric abstraction.
